Energy Drinks-Do they give you energy or just a fat gut?

Energy drinks are carbonated water with fattening high fructose corn syrup and a few random B-vitiamins to trick you into thinking it is healthy. The corn syurp is empty calories that turn straight to fat. Low sugar or sugar-free drinks have harmful chemicals in the artificial sweeteners. Inadvertently you consume more calories and gain more weight. Caffeine in its self does'nt provide "energy". The only substancees that provide energy are calories from carbs, protein, and fat. Try getting caffeine from a natural source like green, white, or oolong tea's, which provide healthy antioxidants too!
